Intro to Vegan Cooking
Hi! I have heard from so many people who are interested in vegan cooking, whether seeking a complete lifestyle change or simply wanting to incorporate more plant-based meals into weekly menus. Oftentimes, people think it requires a lot of hard-to-find ingredients and complicated cooking techniques. Not true!
I developed this course to show you how easy it is to prepare delicious, healthy, plant-based meals that will satisfy your tastebuds and your desire to become a talented vegan home cook.
Even if you have very little experience in the kitchen, I lead you step-by-step through each recipe, so you are never on your own! In addition, there are printable recipes with the full ingredient list, directions, storage info, and tips that will ensure your success.
We start with a review of vegan nutrition, including an explanation of how to eat vegan and the multitude of plant-based protein sources. Next, I will walk you through setting up your kitchen and stocking your pantry with a vegan cook’s most frequently used staples. Then comes the fun part…¦cooking!
I will show you how to prepare delicious, healthy, plant-based recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Oh yes, and dessert! The lessons are self-paced so you can learn at the time and day that is most convenient for your schedule.
The recipes are some of my favorite dishes, foods that perhaps you thought you might not be able to enjoy when eating vegan. Like biscuits, macaroni and cheese, and cupcakes! Just about anything you enjoy eating can be made without animal products.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need prior experience cooking?
The recipes are designed for beginner to intermediate home cooks. By following my step-by-step video instruction, even novices can be successful.
When does the course begin and end?
As soon as you enroll you have access to the lessons! The course is designed to be completed over four weeks – starting with the introductory lesson and breakfast in week one, and continuing with one additional lesson each week. The beauty of the online format is your ability to go at your own pace, whatever works best for your schedule. There is no deadline to meet. You will have unlimited access to the course.
How much time should I plan to spend each week?
One to two hours is the average time it takes for each recipe-based lesson. First, review the recipes and handy shopping list. Pick up the items you need a day in advance if possible. I recommend watching the lesson once before beginning to prepare the dish. Then roll up your sleeves and cook alongside me!
Where can I find the recipe ingredients?
All the ingredients should be available at the larger grocery stores or health food stores you frequent, depending upon where you live. If you are in a rural area, many staples can be ordered online.
Can my family and friends join in?
Absolutely! Your course access will be limited to your devices but there is no limit on the number of participants who can follow along with you.
What if I have questions?
I am available via email and typically respond to inquiries within 24 hours. Often other students have the same or similar questions so reviewing the thread may reveal a solution almost immediately!
